As time goes by…

One year ago, we’ve started the RePort. We take this occasion to sum up what happened during the first year and to give you a glance at what’s coming up in the second. Besides having a lot of fun doing our research, we’ve finished three papers that are currently under revision in edited volumes and an international journal. Other papers are in the writing process. We’ve also get to know interesting people and other researchers in the field of higher education studies by contributing to conferences, organizing a workshop at Hamburg University, and hosting a track at next years EURAM conference. We’re also informing practitioners and higher education managers by evaluating a comprehensive reorganization of administrative structures and processes at Hamburg University and, of course, by having Markus as vice president in Leuphana’s top management team. Just now, we’re gathering new and interesting data by issuing a factorial survey, tracking collaboration and communication structures among scientists, and conducting further semi-structured interviews. We’re quite optimistic that we will have preliminary results from these inquiries ready for submission to the big conferences (EGOS, EURAM, AOM), coming up in January 2013. So thank you for your interest in our studies and stay with us in our second year, analyzing “Multi-Level Governance of Resource Portfolios in Higher Education Institutions“.
